Medical Tracking Solutions, known as MTS, writes software that helps medical device makers keep track of stock held in the field and swap data with the hospitals and surgery centres they supply. Its founders came from device sales, distribution, logistics, loaner kit processing and software development.

What Medical Tracking Solutions does

• iTraycer: a case and inventory system, used through a mobile app and a web platform, for case scheduling, device tracking, ordering and restocking.
• Data Exchange Platform (DXP): a link that lets a device company's case management or ERP system pull data out of hospital systems to shorten the path from order to payment.
• Full managed service: MTS teams up with logistics firms so that stock is checked, stored and sent out from local warehouses and delivered into hospitals, as far as the operating theatre.

Who it works with

MTS serves medical device manufacturers and hospitals, with sales, customer service, operations and management teams as the main users. Hospitals and ambulatory surgical centres are the other side of its data links.
