Maptek makes software and hardware used across the mining value chain, from exploration through to production and reclamation. Its geoscience tools cover mine planning, geological modelling, drillhole management, resource estimation and machine-learning-assisted domain and grade prediction. Engineering products handle mine design, scheduling and haulage-scenario planning, while a geomatics line covers laser scanning, point-cloud processing and imaging, including tools for underground proximity awareness and monitoring ground stability and convergence. Maptek says its products are used by more than 30,000 users across 95 countries and that the company was founded 45 years ago. It also lists tools for material tracking and reconciliation and for dynamically updating survey surfaces as mining operations progress.
