Loom

Loom lets people record their screen, their webcam or both, then share the recording as a link instead of holding a meeting or writing a long email. It is now owned by Atlassian and runs on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android.

What Loom offers

• Recording — a Chrome extension plus desktop and mobile apps for screen and camera capture.
• Editing — cutting and joining clips, then adding text, arrows, overlays or a new background.
• Collaboration — viewers can leave comments and emoji reactions, and each video can carry tasks or a call to action.
• Transcripts and captions — available in more than 50 languages, with AI summaries on higher plans.
• Bug reports — recordings that populate Jira tickets with technical details.
• Integrations and admin — links to over 100 tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Salesforce, Figma and Jira, plus SSO, SCIM and custom data retention for enterprises.

Who it works with

Loom reports millions of users at 400,000 companies, spanning sales, engineering, customer support and design teams. HubSpot, Tesla, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Goldman Sachs, Disney and Walmart are among the organisations it names.
