Karmasoft

Karmasoft is studio management software for yoga and wellness businesses, first built by studio owners for their own use. Its founders began work on it in 2001 during a yoga teacher training, when they found no existing software suited the studio they were about to open, and they ran it there from 2003. It now serves studios on three continents and has chosen to stay a small company.

What Karmasoft offers

• Scheduling — classes, privates and workshops on one calendar, with recurring schedules, waitlists, substitutions and instant booking.
• Members and payments — student profiles and attendance history, card payments, autopay, recurring billing and point of sale.
• KarmaIQ — AI analytics that flag members who are slipping away, revenue trends and weak classes, and answer questions in plain language.
• Online classes — Zoom integration and an on-demand video library.
• Staff and finance — instructor scheduling, permissions, automated payroll, expense tracking and profit and loss.
• Marketing and member access — email and SMS campaigns, a branded member portal, a mobile app and a kiosk mode with QR sign-up.
