balena

balena provides infrastructure and software for people who run fleets of connected IoT devices built on Linux. The idea is that fleet owners spend their time on their own applications rather than on device plumbing.

What balena offers

• balenaCloud — a cloud platform for developing, deploying and scaling device fleets.
• Device management — devices and their running services can be monitored and updated from a web dashboard.
• API, CLI and SDK — programmatic access for teams that want to automate fleet work.
• Container-based stack — a secure technology stack for the devices themselves.
• Security and compliance — hardening, vulnerability management, remote updates and software bill of materials tracking for regulatory needs.

Users include engineering teams at companies building connected products. Components can be used together or picked individually to suit a project.
