Arity, founded by Allstate in 2016, sells driving and mobility data drawn from more than three trillion miles and over 40 million drivers, and has agreed to buy substantially all of INRIX's assets.
Arity is a mobility data and analytics company that The Allstate Corporation founded in 2016. It collects and analyses driving data, with the aim of helping transportation businesses build services that are safer, smarter and cheaper to run. Its website says it holds more than three trillion miles of driving data and insights on over 40 million drivers, and describes the set as the largest driving behaviour dataset tied to insurance claims. In October 2026 it announced an agreement to acquire substantially all the assets of the traffic data company INRIX.
Arity gathers its data through mobile devices, in-car devices and the vehicles themselves, then applies predictive analytics to turn it into scores and insights. Its products include the Arity Driving Score, a behavioural risk score that it positions alongside traditional rating variables in auto insurance pricing, and Arity Analytics. It also publishes driving behaviour research, including an annual report and consumer surveys. For public bodies it launched Safety Hub with Replica, a roadway safety platform for public agencies, and it announced a partnership with Experian to give wider access to consumer driving intelligence.
The company's main customers are auto insurers, who use the data for risk assessment and pricing. It also serves app developers, who can add features such as emergency help and crash alerts, retailers and marketers who want to understand how and when people travel, and communities and agencies working on road safety. A consumer-facing page lets drivers see their own driving insights.
