Star Ventures

Star Ventures is a venture capital fund that began operating in 1992, among the earliest such funds established in Israel. It focuses on information technology, with an emphasis on data and telecommunications, internet and enterprise software, and medical devices. The firm says it has built over 180 technology companies during its history, resulting in more than 82 initial public offerings and acquisitions, with a number of notable named exits described on its site. Star Ventures has offices in Germany and Israel, and describes its work as spanning telecom, enterprise software, media, wireless and life science sectors, working over the long term with entrepreneurs across a range of early and mid-stage companies in these fields.
