About India Quotient

India Quotient is an early-stage investment firm that backs founders building businesses aimed at Indian consumers, as well as companies in the India and global SaaS space. The firm has been investing at the pre-seed and seed stage for around fourteen years and says it will fund companies as early as the idea stage, sometimes before a product exists. Past investments named on its site include Sharechat, Sugar, Lendingkart, Vyapar and Dhiwise. India Quotient describes working closely with its founders, running twice-yearly retreats where portfolio companies and select limited partners discuss strategy, and hosting informal monthly gatherings with industry figures. It also runs a peer network for founders to exchange advice, and says it can back a business as early as the paper stage or once it already has a handful of customers.
