entrepreneurship@UBC, known as e@UBC, is the entrepreneurship programme of UBC. It gives students, staff, faculty and alumni a route into starting and running ventures.

The programme draws on collaboration between faculties and institutes across the university. It describes its approach as a venture-centric journey, following a founder from an early idea onward.

What entrepreneurship@UBC offers

  • Entrepreneurial training: teaching of entrepreneurial thinking and leadership skills.
  • Venture creation support: help for people who want to turn research or ideas into companies.
  • Entrepreneurs in Residence: experienced entrepreneurs who are listed on the site as a point of contact for founders.
  • Okanagan campus programme: a matching offer, entrepreneurship@UBCO, for people based there.
