Simple Gantt is an online Gantt-chart tool, presented by its maker on Hacker News on 1 October 2026 as a chart that flags deadline risk. Users add tasks and subtasks, set dates, connect dependencies and mark milestones, and the timeline updates when dates move. Each task is automatically marked as on track, at risk or delayed, so a project manager can see slipping work before a deadline is missed. The site says a first project is ready straight after sign-up, that there is a free way to start with no card, and that pricing is not per seat. It is aimed at small teams and agencies that need a schedule rather than a full project-management suite.
