Allego operates an EV charging network of more than 32,000 charge points in 15 countries, with an app and card for drivers across Europe and the UK.
Allego is an electric vehicle charging network operator with its base in Germany. The company says it runs and maintains more than 32,000 charge points across 15 countries, with 99 percent uptime. Through its app and card, drivers can also reach more than one million chargers across Europe and the UK, including stations run by other operators.
Allego says its chargers sit at places drivers already visit, such as cafes, shops and grocery stores, often in partnership with well-known brands across Europe and the UK. The site presents charging as a stop that fits into a planned errand rather than a separate trip. Drivers are directed to the Allego app to find a charger near them and to see the network's coverage in their area. The site presents the network as built and run by the company itself, with the app extending access to the wider network.
The site counts more than 13,000 locations across its network. Its pages also point drivers to a locator in the app, so they can check coverage in the area they travel through and choose a stop that fits their route.
