Mileus

Mileus builds a service that links public transport with ride-hailing. It suggests a full journey home that uses public transport when that is quicker than driving and switches to a ride-hail vehicle where that makes sense.

What Mileus offers

• Combined journey planning — one route that mixes bus or rail legs with a ride-hail transfer.
• Guaranteed return trip — commuters know in the morning that a comfortable way home will exist in the evening.
• Support for ride-hailing operators — better use of vehicles during commuting hours.

Who it works with

Commuters travelling from suburbs into city centres, and ride-hailing operators looking to use their vehicles more fully. The stated aim is less congestion and pollution in cities.

Key facts

• Problem addressed: choosing between a private car with traffic and parking, or public transport with transfers and long walks
• Approach: the choice of transport adapts to conditions at the moment, such as a traffic jam or a change of evening plans
