Houston drone-as-first-responder company that launches docked drones at emergency calls to give public safety teams aerial views on arrival.
Paladin is a drone-as-first-responder company based in Houston, United States. Its system launches drones autonomously from a department's dock when an incident is reported, so that aerial views arrive before ground units. The company says the platform works with dispatch workflows and can be adopted by departments of any city size. Paladin states that it provides dedicated 24/7 public safety support.
A drone leaves the dock as soon as an incident is reported and flies directly to the location, transmitting live data to command and responding units. Once on scene, it provides live aerial and thermal views so that responders understand the situation before they arrive. The company's site claims eyes on scene in under 90 seconds. After the mission, the operator triggers a return command and the drone flies back to the dock to recharge.
The site says the drones help responders approach incidents more safely and coordinate their response with more confidence. Ferguson PD reports that its program has strengthened transparency and rebuilt community trust, while Forest Park PD says its program now supports near citywide coverage. Forest Park PD also says the program gives real-time aerial visibility across incidents.
