Knectar

Knectar is a web development and product strategy studio that handles design, engineering and planning in one team. It builds websites, intranets, web applications and online shops, with much of its work aimed at higher education as well as commercial clients.

What Knectar offers

• User-centred design and strategy — customer interviews and surveys, interactive mockups, journey mapping, reusable component systems and regular user testing.
• Roadmapping and prioritisation — ranking features with established frameworks and tying planned work to business goals.
• Technical architecture — written specifications, system diagrams and documentation that make handovers between people easier.
• Buy-or-build advice — comparing cloud platforms and off-the-shelf software against a custom system, including long-term ownership.
• Quality assurance and AI work — testing on real devices, accessibility and performance checks, monitoring, and practical AI features such as better search and automated replies.
• Physical prototyping — microcontrollers, sensors, custom electronics and 3D printing to prove a product concept before production.

Who it works with
