GreatDev

GreatDev is a Shopify development studio that builds custom store themes, carries out platform migrations, and publishes its own apps in the Shopify App Store. The studio describes itself as a Verified Shopify Partner and limits its work to three areas: building stores, migrating stores from other platforms, and building apps.

Its theme work is built in Liquid or Hydrogen around a merchant's own product catalogue, while its migration service moves products, customers, orders and redirects from platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce or BigCommerce without losing existing search rankings. Its app work covers both public App Store products and private merchant apps built on Shopify's Polaris design system and Shopify Functions. The studio follows a four-phase process for projects, from an initial scope call through design, build and post-launch support, and reports working with senior developers rather than account-manager layers.
