Vertica

Vertica is a columnar analytical database that is now offered by OpenText, whose analytics database page replaced the former vertica.com address through a redirect. It is a commercial product. The vendor's documentation is current for version 26.3.x, and it also lists the 26.2.x, 26.1.x, 25.4.x and 25.3.x release lines. The documentation describes Enterprise, EON and Accelerator offerings. Whether a free Community Edition remains available was not confirmed, so buyers who expect a free tier should check this with the vendor. Pricing is not published, so a quotation will be needed to establish cost. No release dates, first release year or deployment details were verified, so none are given here. Because several release lines are documented at once, buyers should confirm which line their licence covers and how long it is supported, particularly if they run an older version such as 25.3. No licence change, closed product line or dormant status was found, and the product remains active, with documentation published for the latest 26.3 line.
