enote

Enote is an app for iOS and Android that offers digital sheet music by subscription. It uses artificial intelligence to turn printed and scanned scores into an adjustable digital format. A beta programme let interested musicians try an early prototype before launch.

What Enote offers

• Optical music recognition — converts PDF scans and photos of sheet music into Music-XML files.
• Automated transcription — follows a musician's live performance by turning audio into notation.
• Music synthesis — plays back natural instrumental sounds from any Music-XML file.
• Music composition — analyses music and can compose in different styles and skill levels.
• Score library — works from the baroque to the late romantic era, including solo, chamber, vocal and orchestral pieces.
• Score tools — transposing, annotation, layout changes and printing.
