DataUnique Tecnologia

DataUnique Tecnologia runs a private cloud in Brazil, marketed as DataUnique Cloud, built for client-server ERP systems and other critical software. It hosts the application and database side by side so that ERPs designed for a local network keep their speed. One contract covers hosting, databases, backup, security, monitoring and support.

What DataUnique Tecnologia does

• Dedicated private cloud: sizes infrastructure to each client's ERP and database.
• Database administration: DBAs look after Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server in daily operation.
• Backup and disaster recovery: runs tested backup routines with set retention and checked restores.
• Environment security: covers perimeter protection, access control and compliance.
• 24x7 monitoring: tracks servers, databases and key routines in real time with its DataMonitor tool.
• Specialist support: provides a 24-hour on-call team that knows the ERPs it runs.

Customers and markets

Its typical customer is a mid-sized distributor, cash-and-carry wholesaler or manufacturer with a small IT team, running ERPs such as Winthor, Sankhya or Protheus.
