Developer infrastructure for engineering teams: faster CI runners, Docker and Bazel builds, and cloud dev environments for AI coding agents.
Namespace sells developer infrastructure meant to shorten the build, test and development loop for software teams. Its product line includes Devboxes, which are development environments for AI coding agents, a drop-in replacement for GitHub Actions runners, and accelerated services for Docker, Bazel and Nix builds. The company says all of these run on its own vertically integrated stack, covering custom hardware, a hypervisor and a scheduler, with NVMe-backed storage located alongside the compute. Its description claims builds and tests run two to ten times faster than before, and the claim comes from the company rather than an independent test. The about page says the founding team spent many years at Google, where it helped build Boq, the internal development platform used by most of Google's products, and that the aim is to make software development simpler and focused on teams and applications rather than machines. The customers page states that more than 1,000 companies use the service and quotes engineers from Warp and Zed. The site also carries pricing, documentation, a changelog, a status page, a blog and a careers page.
