We created and steward the Outdoor CEO Diversity Pledge and we work closely with industry partners to facilitate and lead DEI-focused consulting projects and speaking engagements

The Outdoor CEO Diversity Pledge connects leading outdoor brands with inclusion advocates to advance representation for people of color across the industry We're focused on enhancing representation across staff and executive teams, media and marketing, and athletes/ambassadors

We are comprised of The Pledge’s Steering Committee members, community leaders, and DEI experts from around the country who are committed to building a more inclusive outdoor industry

We are fortunate to be working with leaders within the outdoor industry who are committed to supporting our work, building a more inclusive industry, and pushing the conversation of diversity into the forefront

Teresa Baker is the founder of The Outdoor CEO Diversity Pledge and the African American National Park Event Her vision is anchored in interacting with outdoor entities (i e retailers, NGOs, federal agencies) who are having difficulty engaging diverse audiences within their organization and in outdoor arenas, such as national parks
