Write.as

Write.as is a stripped-back blogging service from Musing Studio. It opens on an editor, lets people write in Markdown or rich text, and publishes to the web, newsletters and social media with little else in the way.

What Write.as offers

• Blogs and journals — simple pages for writing, with no adverts shown to authors or readers.
• Reader options — posts can be read in a browser, by email, over RSS, on e-readers and on federated platforms such as Mastodon.
• Custom domains and themes — owners can bring their own domain name and change the look.
• Anonymous writing — several identities or pen names are possible.
• Export and self-hosting — work can be exported, or hosted with the open source WriteFreely software that runs the service.

Who it works with

Individual writers and publishers. Paid plans exist for prolific writers and for teams.
