SAP to buy Belgian AI skills platform TechWolf, closing in Q4
TechWolf, founded as a Ghent University project, will stay a separate company under its CEO and keep serving customers that do not run SAP.…
Workforce intelligence software that maps skills, analyses which tasks AI can automate and benchmarks against labour markets, used by large employers and now being acquired by SAP.
TechWolf sells workforce intelligence software to large employers. Its platform pulls skills data from the systems a company already runs, so HR and talent teams can see what capabilities the organisation has and where it is short.
The product is split into three parts. Skills Intelligence maps the supply of and demand for skills inside a company. Work Intelligence looks at individual tasks within jobs and estimates how far AI could automate them, using the Human Agency Scale from Stanford as a scoring reference. Market Intelligence adds outside labour market data so an employer can compare itself with the wider talent market.
The company says it builds purpose-made models rather than relying on general-purpose language models, and that the platform feeds data into existing HR systems instead of standing alone. Integrations named on its site include Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle HCM Dynamic Skills.
Its customer list names GSK, Booking.com, Adobe, T-Mobile, HSBC, Ericsson and Workday, and the site pitches the product mainly at Fortune 500 organisations. Pricing is not published; visitors are asked to book a demo. The company is registered as TechWolf BV. A letter from its chief executive on the site announces that SAP is to acquire the company.
