LaMetric

LaMetric is a smart home company that makes clocks and lighting. It describes its LaMetric TIME as a pioneer of the smart clock category, and its LaMetric SKY as a light that can also act as a display.

The founders previously worked at a digital agency and wanted a simple desk object to show key indicators at a glance. That led to a clock that shows more than the time.

What LaMetric offers

• LaMetric TIME — a Wi-Fi pixel smart clock with changeable clockfaces, weather, a countdown and internet radio.
• LaMetric SKY — a lighting product that can double as a smart display.
• Notifications — alerts from a phone shown on the desk clock.
• Community clockfaces — thousands of faces created by pixel art fans, plus seasonal ones for holidays.

Who it works with

Home and desk users who want an at-a-glance display, as well as people who wake to music through the clock.
