At the initial level, a prototype of the product is developed by the design team It is done by them after a proper evaluation of the requirements gathered at the previous stage

At this third stage of software development, actual coding takes place The whole development is divided into smaller modules and units Here developers develop multiple modules parallelly and then they are combined together to give the final shape

This is the longest phase of the software development process Here developers are expected to code perfectly without errors

At this phase, the developed codes go under scrutiny The QA analysts will check all the codes developed by the developers and if any error is spotted then the code will again undergo the coding process

This step keeps repeating till all the bugs and errors have been resolved Different types of testing are carried out to ensure the final product is user-friendly and bug-free

Once all the errors are removed from the codes and the product is completed then it is time to deploy it The final product is either implemented into the client’s software or delivered to them

The product remains in the beta testing phase once it is delivered to the client In case any bug or error is caught then the development team is immediately informed Once all the issues are resolved, the final deployment is made

The actual issues in the software product come up when the real users start using it To resolve them, maintenance of the product is carried out

Maintenance includes adding security patches, updating to the latest operating system, integrating third-party software, etc
