Azure

Azure is Microsoft's cloud computing platform. The material held for this listing focuses on App Service, a managed service for building, deploying and scaling web apps, mobile back ends and APIs.

What Azure offers

• App Service — hosts apps written in .NET, Node.js, Java, Python, PHP or Ruby, in containers or on Windows or Linux.
• Managed operations — the platform handles infrastructure maintenance, security patching and scaling.
• Delivery pipelines — integrates with Git, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps and Docker Hub, with deployment slots to cut downtime.
• Network isolation — virtual network integration and dedicated App Service Environments.
• Kubernetes support — can run apps on Kubernetes through Azure Arc, in Azure, on premises or elsewhere.

Who it works with

It serves developers and organisations that need enterprise-level performance, security and compliance, including SOC and PCI standards, in the public cloud, Azure Government or on premises.
