Symbios Group was established in 2000 as a specialist mobile content provider, launching one of the first websites on the planet to sell Ringtones using the internet as a sales platform. Symbios Group founded by brothers Martin and Steve Montague have developed the company through the original "mobile dot com" to a market position as one of the leading providers of Ringtones on the worldwide web, a sector which the group continues to develop and grow which has allowed the group to enter new sectors, improve market share and position Symbios at the fore.

In addition to growth, Symbios Group has now established a large customer/user base for its products, coupled with an aggressive web real estate programme that utilises the group's technology and development division to sustain delivery and revenue through new applications.
