Lake WebWorks

Lake WebWorks designs and builds websites and web applications for organisations that want their site to do measurable work. The studio treats a website as a business tool rather than a showpiece, and says it aims for clear communication that guides visitors to act.

What Lake WebWorks offers

• Website design — layouts that explain what an organisation does and point visitors to the next step.
• Web application development — technical builds meant to scale as the organisation grows.
• E-commerce — its featured project is a Shopify-powered shop with a photography-led responsive redesign for a natural history association.

Who it works with

Organisations with a defined budget and deadline. The studio agrees a solution against the client's requirements and writes down what will be delivered. It keeps in touch during production and commits to the agreed timeframe and budget. Prospective clients are asked to describe their project first, after which the studio explains the approach, cost and duration.
