Cotinga

Cotinga is a French software product that adds an AI search engine to online shops without programming. A store can be indexed in minutes, after which shoppers get corrected spellings, instant suggestions and results that go beyond exact keywords. The product was offered through a beta programme.

What Cotinga offers

• Neural search — understanding the meaning of queries, including concepts and questions, not just keywords.
• Spelling correction and autocomplete — fixing typos automatically and suggesting products while the shopper types.
• Multimodal search — searching text, images, audio and video.
• Filters and wider results — refining by price, colour, size or brand, and returning collections, categories and pages as well as products.
• Self-learning — recording shopper interactions and adjusting results daily.
• Integrations — apps for Shopify and WooCommerce, plus an API for custom search features.

Who it works with

Cotinga is aimed at e-commerce site owners, especially those running Shopify or WooCommerce stores.
