Corona Labs

Corona Labs makes Corona, a 2D engine for building games and apps once and publishing them to many devices. Developers write in Lua, a lightweight open-source scripting language, and can target phones, tablets, desktop computers and connected TVs from a single code base.

What Corona Labs offers

• Corona 2D engine — OpenGL graphics and Lua scripting, compiled at build time for performance and stability.
• Multi-platform publishing — builds for iPhone and iPad, Android, Amazon Fire, macOS, Windows, Apple TV, Fire TV and Android TV.
• Instant-update simulator and live builds — code changes show immediately, and test devices on the local network update automatically.
• Plugins and native calls — plugins for advertising, analytics and media, plus access to any native C, C++, Objective-C or Java library.
• Marketplace — project templates, graphics, music, sound effects and plugins.
• Open source code — developers can add features and contribute back to the core engine.
