Akruto, Inc.

Akruto, Inc. makes AkrutoSync, a program that keeps desktop Outlook in step with a phone or tablet. The software runs on the user's PC and passes calendar, contact, task and note changes both ways over Wi-Fi or a mobile network. Because the data never travels through a cloud or the company's own servers, the product is aimed at people who want to keep that information private.

What Akruto, Inc. offers

• Two-way Outlook sync — calendars, contacts, tasks and notes kept matching between Outlook and mobile devices, with no data limit.
• Native app integration — on iPhone it uses the built-in Calendar, Contacts, Reminders and Notes apps rather than extra apps, and it needs neither iTunes nor iCloud.
• Automatic operation — after the first setup, syncing runs on its own.
• Change history — users can see what changed and restore entries deleted or edited by mistake.
• Device switching — moving to a phone from another maker keeps the same Outlook data.
• Support — help with questions about using the software on different devices.
