GLM-5.3-FlashX

GLM-5.3-FlashX is a faster hosted version of GLM-5.3-Flash, put out by Z.ai on 18 September 2026. The vendor's documentation describes it as the same model, with the same context window, maximum output and input types as the base model. The only difference it claims is throughput.

What GLM-5.3-FlashX offers

• Faster inference: up to 200 tokens a second, which the vendor presents as a peak rather than a measured average.
• Same model: the same context window, maximum output and input types as GLM-5.3-Flash.
• Input types: accepts video, image, text and file input, with text output.
• Coding plan: not yet included in the GLM Coding Plan, which does include the base model, so it is billed through the API.

Clients

Workloads limited by latency, which is what the faster tier targets. Throughput-bound work gains nothing from it.
