Icon Agency

Icon Agency is an independent Australian agency working on strategic communications, public relations, behaviour change, creative work, service design and digital delivery. It helps government bodies and businesses build trust, improve services and encourage action, bringing PR, digital, creative, user-experience and service design together under one team and strategy. Recent projects include a campaign with the Butterfly Foundation addressing negative body talk, a wellbeing website for veterans and their families, and work supporting healthcare professionals addressing the stigma around alcohol and drug use. The agency is independently owned, with co-founders Joanne Painter and Christopher Dodds at the helm; Joanne acts as director and company secretary, and the agency describes itself as female-led and not backed by external investors or a parent company.
