JA Del Rio

JA Del Río is a public accounting and advisory firm founded in 1988 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, by Juan Antonio Del Río Troncoso. It serves domestic companies and foreign businesses operating in Latin America, and states that it has clients on five continents.

What it does

• Audit: financial and tax audits, social security (IMSS) and INFONAVIT audits, state tax audits, internal audit and SOX internal-control work
• Tax: tax consulting and compliance, transfer pricing, foreign trade and international tax services, including a soft-landing service for companies entering Mexico
• Advisory: labour consulting, corporate restructuring, due diligence and company valuation
• Client accounting services: outsourced finance and accounting, payroll and social security, treasury management and a strategic CFO service
• Transaction services: M&A due diligence, carve-out financial statements, purchase price allocation and deal tax structuring

Where it works

The firm lists offices in Mexico City, Guadalajara (its headquarters), León, Monterrey and Tijuana, plus Bogotá in Colombia and San José in Costa Rica. It is a member of the Praxity alliance of independent accounting firms. In a news item on its site, JA Del Río says that from 1 July 2026 it has become a Plante Moran firm, bringing its team of more than 500 people into Plante Moran's Mexico operations.
