Laurie Buhlke, a tax accountant with Contryman Associates P C , has received her certificate and permit to practice as a Certified Public Accountant from the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy

As a certified public accountant, Buhlke has met the experience requirement, two years in public accounting, in addition to having demonstrated her technical competency, through comprehensive examination, in the areas of auditing and attestation, regulation, business environment concepts, and financial accounting and reporting As a Certified Public Accountant, 80 hours of Continuing Professional Education, earned during a two year period, are required in order to renew her permit to practice

Laurie Buhlke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with an accounting emphasis from the University of Nebraska at Kearney Buhlke has experience with

Taylor Shoemaker has joined Contryman Associates, P C as a tax accountant in their Grand Island location In this role she works with other members of the department to prepare business, individual, and estate tax returns and provide tax planning for clients She is currently preparing to take the CPA examination

A graduate of Grand Island Northwest High School, Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in business administration, with emphases in accounting and economics She resides in Hastings, Nebraska and enjoys spending time with family
