Tánczos Péter

  • Partner Peter Tanczos graduated at the Budapest University of Economic  Sciences with an MSc in Finance and Management and later earned a  postgraduate degree in Economic Law at the Eötvös Loránd University,  Budapest He studied at INSEAD in France and received his MBA in 1999

He started his carreer as an investment analyst in 1993, and   later as a partner of Euroventures, that has run four successful venture capital and private equity programmes in  Hungary and its neighbouring countries since He served on the executive and  supervisory boards of several companies of the Euroventures portfolio,  supporting some of them in the capacity of an interim CEO as well

Currently he is the Chairman of the board of Euroventures Zrt, the manager of Euroventures IV

Thomas Howells

  • Partner Tom Howells is from the UK He graduated from the London School of Economics and earned his MBA at INSEAD in France

He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse in  London, and joined Euroventures in Budapest in 1996 As a director of  Euroventures he has been closely involved in investments in Central Europe in a wide range of businesses

He is a member of the board and Chairman of the Investment Committee Previously he has served as a board member of the Hungarian Venture Capital Association

Zoltán Tóth

  • Partner Zoltan Toth is a graduate of the Budapest University of Economics and the Harvard Business School

Zoltan has 18 years of experience in private equity and consulting in blue-chip international companies

Zoltan worked for the Boston Consulting Group in Chicago and Budapest before joining Advent International’s Central European team in 1999  where he completed investments in Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, England and Bulgaria Later he became partner at 3i focusing on CEE

Zoltan joined Euroventures in March 2010 He is member of the board and the Investment Committee

Norbert Bial

  • Junior Partner Norbert graduated at the University of Miskolc at the Faculty of Economics in 2006

After graduation Norbert was involved in innovation and R&D  project management and business consulting He became an expert in the field of intellectual property law

Norbert joined Euroventures in May 2010 as an investment analyst Later he became investment manager He participated in more than 10 transactions both in the investment stage and during the portfolio management phase He also drove the exit of several portfolio companies

Norbert became junior partner of Euroventures in 2017

Mariann Ivanics

  • Compliance Manager Mariann graduated from the College for Foreign Trade in Budapest

She started her career as an export sales manager She joined Euroventures in 1997

She has been the Back Office Manager ever since In this capacity she has been responsible for the administrative functions for all 4 of Euroventure's funds She has been overseeing all reporting (including statutory, managemet and LP reports), supports the annual, audit process and provides back office support to every transaction Mariann is also in charge of Euroventure's compliance function
