DODO Design Agency is a design consultancy based in Africa that combines human-centred design with strategic research. It helps organisations learn what their customers actually need, then prototype and test solutions before they launch. Projects have covered agriculture, finance, education and health, largely in Nigeria and West Africa.

• Embedded design consulting: joining a client team for as long as a project needs, covering market validation, prototyping, design and strategy.
• Team support: business designers and user researchers placed alongside a client's own staff.
• Training: customised online courses in design and research practice for product, ventures and strategy teams.
• Research studies: participatory field research and market studies, such as a study of 500 women across eight West African countries on digital platform use.
• Design Academy: a School of Research teaching practical research and design skills.

Clients

DODO works with companies and funders. Past projects include reducing losses in Nigeria's tomato production, designing a product for high-net-worth individuals, a learning system for children aged 5 to 8 in Lagos State, and a user-centred approach to non-hormonal contraception.
