Dr. Mohammad Sharaf (CEO)

Mohammad sharaf is an assistant Professor in the Department of “ Computer Science Apprenticeship Program” at An-Najah National University, where he has been since 2008. He received a B.S. from Computer Engineering An-Najah National University, and an M.Sc. from the Computer Engineering at Jordan University for Science and Technology. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of L’Aquila, Italy. His research interests span internet of things and software engineering. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding, design, and performance of internet of things. Mainly through the application of smart systems, smart agriculture, smart cities and smart building. Dr. Mohammad Sharaf is the author of twenty seven papers on IoT. He is a software architect and engineer for many projects. He is leading research on software architecture descriptions, architectures for CPS, Model Driven Engineering, and architectural design. He is also researcher at the Uffizi Galleries – UnivAQ project, the CINI Smart Cities and Communities distributed laboratory, the IoT Living Lab in Italy.

Ammar possesses over 23 years of private banking, private equity, and management consulting experience. He advised on several

acquisitions across different sectors within the MENA region. He was the head of private banking at BNP Paribas in Abu Dhabi, and also in senior position in several international banks. Ammar serves as a board member of several entities within the GCC. He graduated from the American University of Beirut with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
