AlterMobili is a Munich-based smart mobility startup. We have set ourselves the goal of solving traffic and environmental problems with technology and the community of drivers. We want to give people the mobility they need and at the same time make our cities more livable. We are aware that time is short and we can no longer wait for the big solution from politics and industry. We know that sustainable mobility is only possible if all road users have the right data. That is why we have set ourselves the goal of connecting all cars, regardless of their type and age. Our patent-pending technology turns every car into a connected car. We use smart technology and the community of drivers to ensure fully networked, efficient and sustainable car mobility.

Our primary goal is to reduce search traffic for parking spaces by 30% and to reduce car trips to areas with a low probability of finding parking spaces by 50%. We want to help motorists find parking spaces faster. To make this possible, we connect cars, regardless of their age, to a connected car community. For this, we use our small chip "ALMO", which is installed somewhere in the car and connects to our ALMO app via Bluetooth. When a user of the app parks their car, we recognize it and share the free parking spaces with all other ALMO users. Our solution is so clever that it even shows vacant parking spaces for 60 seconds in advance. This means that only our users know when another user is clearing parking spaces.
