A love of cricket and a bit of banter brought co-founders Bharat and Stephen together in their local cricket club in Rathmines around 2001.

Soon after, Bharat left his government role and convinced Stephen to leave his own permanent job, and together they began flexing their entrepreneurial muscles. Back then we were carrying GSM Nokia phones, writing Java and J2ME and harboring plans of creating a mobile market platform, app business, and bidding application. In tandem, web development and consulting work came without much effort, the products fell away, and our company was born.

Since then, Monsoon Consulting has become the ‘go-to’ company for content and commerce solutions in Ireland. We’ve built an incredible team of analysts, designers, and developers, and created some great projects and platforms for market-leading brands and organizations. We've also won a few awards along the way. We take a leadership role in the Drupal Association in Ireland and have founded and run Ireland’s only Magento Community Meetup event.
