ABOUT JACKRABBIT

Jackrabbit started in 2012 when our CEO, Jonathan Rosenberg, realized he was dissatisfied with a "good job"​ as a software engineer for a large corporation in town. He was excited about the tech industry’s vast potential especially in areas like mobile (at the time) and wanted to explore those new frontiers. Jon decided to take four months off with $20K in his savings account to see how far he could get in building a business. (Jon's background is eclectic, to say the least. After high school, he rode his bike alone through the US, cooked for dog mushers on a glacier in Alaska, studied computer science at The University of Texas at Austin, and co-founded a guerilla art collective called the Elevator Art Club – which won Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin Art Collective in 2003.)
