About IoT UK

IoT UK is a national program to amplify the UK's IoT capability. The IoT UK Boost activity is designed to support IoT innovation and adoption across the business and the public sector through a series of local innovation challenges and incubation activities across the UK.

In partnership with ODILeeds and the Digital Catapult Centre Yorkshire, we're boosting the Internet of Things (IoT) across the Leeds City Region and Yorkshire.

Over the coming months, our events will connect micro and small businesses with the people and organizations who have problems that IoT might solve.

Everything builds up to our main event at ODILeeds on the 11th and 12th of February, we hope you will join us in building new stuff together.

Introducing the Data City

The Data City is a non-profit membership organization, designed to enable organizations and individuals to use technology for the benefit of Leeds. Conceived by an ever-growing coalition of people across the public and private sector, the Data City represents a new way for cities to be smart in how they adopt technology ensuring mutual benefit for citizens, suppliers, and the local companies.

In short, the Data City is a catalyst to deliver the smart city vision for Leeds.

Lead the world in the innovative use of data to drive better health and well-being throughout Leeds.

Through this leadership, we will develop the eco-system, connected communities and utilize techniques and capabilities that can be applied to all sectors including Financial Technology and Digital Technology.

Using our city as a platform we will solve problems using data, turning these solutions into opportunities to develop products and services for all.
